As a professional photographer, it’s important to me to stay relevant, and set myself apart as a photographer, especially when there are millions of photographers in the world! With that said, I’m honored to announce that Professional Photographer Magazine selected some of my photos to be featured in their magazine for January 2026. This is a hall of fame moment for me, and I’m still jumping for joy that this happened.

Here’s more of the backstory. Last year while teaching a workshop in New Orleans for Southern Bride Magazine, I took a group of photographers out on a photo expedition in the French Quartor to shoot. I had a goal in mind to create some new work for my portfolio, and I also was determined to create something that would be trendsetting in the {wedding} and {commercial} photography market. I had worked on some double exposures over the years, and felt that there was something new that could be done with this technique.

So my words of inspiration to other photographers out there, never stop being creative, dream big, and be determined to set yourself apart from the crowd!
